I got the 8mm and it's incredibly sharp, well-balanced, and provides excellent control for skiving. The lignum vitae smells amazing :)

I have been using Palosanto edge creasers in my workshop, and they are truly exceptional tools. The precision and quality are exactly what a leather artisan needs to achieve a perfect, refined finish. They feel well-balanced in the hand and perform beautifully every time. Huge shoutout to Palosanto Factory for these tools. The wood slicker has excellent form and function, and the wood grain is stunning. I was expecting red Amboyna, but the gold is beautiful. The wood has a great weight and density to it, and the finish is completely smooth—it leaves a gorgeous, glossy edge with very little effort. When I saw their edge beveler with that pistol handle and silver ring, I just couldn't resist adding it to my order. I’m so glad I did. It arrived crazy sharp and glides through leather like butter. Both tools look like art and work flawlessly.

Super happy with my bevelers, got three sizes and they just slide on leather super smooth and bevel very easy. I get fantastic results even as a absolute beginner. Highly recommend these. They look fantastic as well and are comfortable to hold even in my very large hands.

I'm very happy with the knife, it's of great quality and is very sharp out of the box. I find it quite easy to sharpen as well to maintain the same level of sharpness. I managed to ruin my knife on my very first cut when I forgot a metal pin inside the strap I was cutting. Contacted PaloSanto and they offered to give me a new knife for free! I appreciate this kindness a lot. I will be a customer for life. Can't recommend enough!

I got the japanese skiving knife, an edge beveller, and a french edger to replace my entry level Owden/Kemovan tools and the jump in quality and ease of use was staggering. The blades are sharp, easily stropped, and just an absolute joy to use. I immediately placed an order for the euro knife to replace my craft knife, and another beveller. A pleasure to work with tools that actually work. It was my first upgrade from TEMU tools haha, the difference is abysmal. (Obviously on the price too, but worth it.) Super sharp, now I can be accurate.
